Music in the Garden - Back Pages
Gather a picnic, pack a lawn chair or blanket and join in as we bring music to The Gardens at Elm Bank. Catch up with a friend or stroll through the gardens while listening in on the sounds of the evening. This events allow for people to spread through out the garden to hear the music.
Gates open one hour prior to the start of the show for those who would like to explore the gardens. You're welcome to picnic in the garden but please be aware that trash cans are not available at this time, we ask that you please pack out what you pack in. The gardens will close 30 minutes after the performance has ended.
Inky Fair and Doug Betschart have been playing music together since 1972, first hitting the New England club circuit in the band "Moonfast." In 1977, they formed "Fair, Yates & Betschart," the renowned house band at Timothy’s Spirits in Framingham, and later released "Spirits," an album of original songs.
Since 1987, Inky and Doug have performed as the acoustic/rock duo, "Back Pages." With Steve McCrossan on keyboard and bass, "Back Pages" features a vast, eclectic mix of classic and modern rock music spanning five decades -- enlivened with rich harmonies, amazing guitar playing, and pulsating rythyms.
Garden entrance is allowed starting at 6pm. Restrooms and a bottle refill station available on-site. As always, please no dogs.
