A clambake dinner begins the festivities at 7:30 following a welcome cocktail reception at 6:30. The dance party begins at 9:30. Everyone is asked to wear cruise attire in keeping with the theme. Tickets are $150 per person.

LIR New Year’s Eve Party, Boston, MA

LIR is an upscale Irish pub in Boston, and they’re hosting a New Year’s Eve party that all can afford. For just a $12 ticket, you can party all night long. A DJ will play the past year’s hits and a champagne toast will take place at midnight. Tickets are accepted at the door as early as 8 p.m.

First Night Boston, Boston, MA

People travel from all over New England to attend First Night Boston. Enjoy live family-friendly entertainment at a variety of venues as well as fireworks and a spectacular ice sculpture display. New Year’s Eve at The Castle, Beverly, MA

The Castle is a board game café in Beverly. On New Year’s Eve they’re hosting a bash with board games, a Connect Four tournament and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are just $15 each, and guests are asked to buy them as a group if they’re planning to attend that way.

Hugh O’Neill’s Restaurant & Pub, Malden, MA

You can party on New Year’s Eve at Hugh O’Neill’s Restaurant & Pub. There will be a DJ playing all your favorite songs so you can dance in 2019, as well as party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets start at just $5.

Wamesit Lanes Family Entertainment Center, Tewksbury, MA

Enjoy New Year’s Eve with the whole family at Wamesit Lanes Family Entertainment Center. Reserve a party package from 2-4 p.m. or 4:30-6:30 p.m. There are 28 lanes available and for $125 per lane, your family will enjoy pizza, soft drinks, a kid’s toast and shoe rentals. You’ll bowl for two hours and be home in plenty of time to tuck the kids in with a babysitter and head out to ring in the New Year as adults.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise, Boston, MA

Spirit Cruises is offering their fireworks and dinner cruise on Boston Harbor as a special way to ring in 2019. Dance the night away after enjoying a buffet dinner. Enjoy a firework display and a champagne toast at midnight. The cruise is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., and tickets are available online.

Peter Wolf at The Cabot, Beverly, MA

Enjoy the music of famed blues and rock singer Peter Wolf at The Cabot on New Year’s Eve. Doors open at 7, with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Peter will perform songs from his latest album, “A Cure for Loneliness.” Tickets start at $54.50.

Bar Louie, Foxboro, MA

Attend the Black and White Masquerade at Bar Louie’s on New Year’s Eve. Located in Patriot’s Place, tickets are $10, and the place is expected to be hopping all night. Order food, have some cocktails or beer, and be ready to welcome 2019 in at midnight. The party doesn’t stop then either. Many will stick around until closing time for even more fun.

Boston Pops Orchestra, Boston, MA

Attend the annual Boston Pops New Year’s Eve Concert. This year’s guest is Seth MacFarlane. There’s really no more exciting way to ring in the New Year. There will be a few dining options available as well as a cash bar. Check the website for ticket options.
