TRIP TO THE ISABELLA STEWART GARDNER MUSEUM & VENEZIA RESTAURANT

On Thursday, May 23 at 11 a.m. we will be leaving Foxborough from St. Mary's Church parking lot at 58 Carpenter and traveling to Boston.  We will start our day with an amazing lunch at the Venezia Restaurant where you will have your choice of Baked Haddock, Chicken Parmigiana or Pasta Primavera for lunch.  Then we are off to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for a self-guided tour.  This museum first welcomed visitors on New Year's Day in 1903 and opened as a place to celebrate art, music and horticulture.  The museum became world famous in 1990 when 13 pieces of art were stolen.  This became the largest art theft in the world. The museum houses one of the nation's finest collections of art, and there are 3 floors of galleries that surround a garden courtyard blooming with life in all seasons.  The museum is filled with paintings, sculpture, tapestries, furniture, and decorative arts from cultures spanning 30 centuries.  The cost is $128 per person for Foxborough residents and $133 for non-residents. Registration for this trip with payment has begun.
