FEDERAL

United States Department of Labor (Division of Youth Services), 2/1/2024                                                     

YouthBuild is a community-based pre-apprenticeship program that provides job training and educational opportunities for at-risk youth ages 16-24 who have previously dropped out of high school. Eligible applicants include: workforce development boards, school districts, community colleges, nonprofits and community-based organizations, house development agencies, Indian tribes, youth service or conservation corps, and more.  Average award: $700,000.00 - $1,500,000.00.

Environmental Protection Agency, 2/5/2024                                                

The Reducing Indoor Air Risks program is soliciting applications from eligible entities to conduct demonstration, technical assistance, training, education, or outreach projects that seek to reduce exposure to indoor air contaminants by advancing national policy and systems-level initiatives. Programs should address one or more of the EPA Indoor Air Program priority areas of radon, indoor environmental asthma triggers, or comprehensive indoor air risk reduction. Grants up to $200,000.00.

National Endowment for the Arts, 2/28/2024

The program funds arts projects in the following disciplines: artist communities, arts education, dance, design, folk and traditional arts, literary arts, local arts agencies, media arts, museums, music, musical theater, opera, presenting and multidisciplinary arts, theater, and visual arts. Grants range from $10,000 to $100,000. All grants require a non federal cost share or match of at least 1 to 1. In addition, designated local arts agencies eligible to sub-grant may request cost share/matching grants ranging from $30,000 to $150,000 for sub-granting programs in the Local Arts Agencies discipline.

STATE

Afterschool & Out-of-School Time Subgrant, 1/26/2024
Administered by the Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education, the purpose of this federal and state competitive grant is to fund several regional or statewide non-profit entities with the ability to subgrant and provide wraparound support to afterschool and out-of-school time (ASOST) programs. The overall goal of the grant is to provide subgrants and support to ASOST programs, which will strengthen the quality of and increase access to learning and enrichment programming that improve academic, college and career readiness and social-emotional outcomes for youth. ASOST is inclusive of before-school, after-school, vacation and summer programming hours beyond school time.

The Massachusetts Community Health and Health Aging Funds 2024 Funding Cycle, 3/29/2024        Grants of up to $200,000 per year for up to 5 years will be available to Massachusetts-based non-profit 501(c)3 organizations or groups with a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor, municipalities, and quasi-governmental organizations who are working to address root causes of health inequities and social determinants of health.
