Yarmouth Seaside Festival

The Yarmouth Seaside Festival, celebrating its 41st anniversary, was founded in 1978 by South Yarmouth resident Jan Butler, in the hope of creating community spirit and pride in the Town of Yarmouth.

Presented annually on Columbus Day weekend, the festival is the result of a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication by a small, volunteer committee. It is through their diligence that the festival has flourished.

The Yarmouth Seaside Festival has grown into a gala event which boasts a craft fair of more than 125 crafters from all over the country, continual musical entertainment, high‐quality children’s events, a kayak and canoe race, pie‐eating contests, fireworks display, etc. to name just a few.

By bringing together our townspeople and tourists alike, we have captured a warm, fun‐loving, and still FREE event for all to take part in and enjoy.
