Springdell Farm

571 Great Road Route 119

Our CSA runs 22 weeks, beginning the first of June and running through the first of November. Our growing season kicks off with strawberries, hothouse tomatoes, and many other early vegetables. Our shares include eggs, berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, etc), greens, herbs, vegetables, and tree fruit (from a local orchard).

Our family farm lies on one of the oldest agricultural lands in the area, known to many as Scratch Flat. Our land has been farmed since 1781 but has been continuously operated by the Theodoros Family since 1931. Here at our farm we grow quality fruits and vegetables using Integrated Pest Managment as well as a natural approach to many of our crops. Over the last few years we have also begun producing our own herd of Black Angus Beef cattle which roam 150 acres of rolling hillsides at Gibbet Hill in Groton, Massachusetts. At our "home farm" we raise pasture raised chicken, goat, lamb, pork, and turkey. It is imporant to our family that our livestock live on green pastures with room to roam the outdoors in a clean and healthy environment. You can visit our website for a complete list of items we produce and our naturally raised meat products.
