Ironwood Batting Cages

98 Cummings Park

Americas pastime, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that players want to keep their uniforms even when they outgrow them. Dont worry about being an  child or an adult -- our cages cater to all crowd: people who love the game so much, they cant let it go, and catching fly balls in the Major League ballparks isnt enough. Our every day cages will teach you fundamentals and retain that connection to the game you know and love so much.

It's a real shame that the place I've gone to for 20+ years has fallen off so quickly under new management. 2 out of 3 times I went there the balls were chest high (I'm over 6 foot) and the other time I went they closed because "it was going to downpour". It rained for about 5 minutes and stopped, no rain in the forecast. A real shame. This was my go to spot for many many years.

Place is awesome, I love the area, I think it's a perfect place to have batting cages.. Just aim at all that fun traffic on 93!!!

Outdoor pitching machines with a number of different speed options. Owner is a ball player and keeps everything well maintained / tuned / consistent. Directly off route 93. Typically will hit here on way home from work and take a break from sitting in traffic.

Great cages. Have been going for fifteen years. Started when my son needed fast baseball (>90), he continued as he played through college. I now play SP softball so have continued to go. Staff is very friendly and helpful if you ask. A little to tricky to find the first time in the back of the Cummings Park mini mall, but once found never forgotten!
