Welcome to Hyland Orchard and Brewery

Owned and operated by the Damon family for three generations, Hyland Orchard is located in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, in the quaint village of Fiskdale.

Hyland Orchard was founded in 1945 by F. James Hyland. In 1996, Jim’s grandson Christopher Damon took the reigns and continues to run the farm and grounds today. Don Damon transformed the farm’s 12,000-square-foot barn into a state-of-the-art brewery, which today is operated by Rapscallion Brewery.

Thousands of visitors flock here to enjoy apple picking, hayrides and (free) live music in the Fall. Hyland hosts wedding celebrations and corporate gatherings during the Summer months, offering the opportunity for private Pavilion rental events on the sprawling 150-acre farm. Hyland’s extended family has taken great care to preserve a true family atmosphere for all to enjoy and it clearly shows.

The large Pavilion is newly renovated and boasts custom beam work and retractable barn walls, perfect for all kinds of weather from rainy April days to chilly Autumn nights. The Pavilion has full lighting, table and chair rentals, 30-foot long bar, fire pit, and large band stage area. Come Fall, apple picking, tractor rides, animal petting, and outdoor festivals define farm life.
