There's a little bit of something here for everyone. There are several separate buildings, each containing something unique. You could do the buildings quickly in about 2 hours, or if you want to spend more time you could easily spend 5 hours here like we did with my kids and some friends. There is an inexpensive Cafe that has sandwiches and some things your kids will probably like. This is a Hidden Gem in the area, and worth a trip if you are in the area.

We go here all the time. My children received a membership for Christmas, they love this place so much. The staff are great, there's lockers, benches and tables if you want to bring a picnic lunch. We're planning on having their birthday party here in a few weeks. Great family destination.

Went specifically for the Dr Seuss museum which was GREAT. Was also impressed with the science museum. Only got to visit one other (there are actually 5 in total for same price) but that art museum was also nice! The quad was GREAT to let the kids run off some steam, and each museum had hands-on stations for the kids in addition to the regular exhibits. Will definitely return! Also, I was able to find a coupon via Google search and saved our family of 4 $12 (we are actually a family of 5, but the youngest was free since she was under 3).

As a member of the Springfield Museum the cultural and special programs alone make this a very worthwhile and fulfilling organization to support and enjoy. Several times in any given month there are numerous programs to attend and unwind at from a hectic daytime schedule. Also as a continuing supporter of this value added community resource you can feel good knowing that your pledge in the fight to keep our city library system alive and flourishing is always there giving back to all ages and backgrounds..

The museum was nice. There were many interactive exhibits in the science building. I would definitely return. The Dr. Suess museum was nice too. There were many things to do, but I wish there was a price for a weekend pass because I found it later in the afternoon and I ran out of time. So get there early and get your money's worth.
