We are a family-owned tree farm in western Massachusetts. Come visit us to choose and cut the perfect Christmas tree for your family among our 12 acres of trees. We provide sleds, saws, and twine. Tree shaking is also available.
Allen Tree Farm was founded by Robert Allen and his wife Helen in the early 1960s. Our trees used to line the streets of Hartford, Conn. as the decorations for the G.Fox department store.
Robert and Helen's children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews were all given jobs on the farm: planting seedlings in spring, pruning and shaping the trees in summer, watering in fall, and selling them in winter.
Today, Robert and Helen's youngest son Jeff Allen operates the farm, while their daughter Linda Allen Vaughan manages the books. You'll find one or both of them there most December weekends, along with their children and cousins, ready to help you find the perfect tree.
