Plant Sale

Saturday, May 13

9:00 AM - Noon (rain or shine!)

Our eagerly await Plant Sale is coming up on Saturday, May 13!

As usual, all the plants come from members’ gardens and are donated to the sale, which is a major fund-raiser for the library. An assortment of divided perennials and shrubs will be available, as well as a wide variety starter vegetables and flowers. House plants as well as tubers, corms, and bulbs are part of the mix. Local gardeners always flock to the sale to find plants that are particularly well suited to the conditions here.

Donations of plants should be dropped off on Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May 12. Volunteers will be on hand in the library courtyard to assist. Composted soil and pots and labels are available in the courtyard for people who still need to dig up their plants and pot them up, and label them for the sale.

If you have time to volunteer on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, we would be immensely grateful! Jobs include receiving and pricing plants, sale set up, order tallying, crowd control, plant advising, running plants to cars, and clean up. Some enthusiastic people might want to sign up for more than one slot; that’s wonderful. All help is welcome. Bring a friend! To sign up for a volunteer slot, please visit our SignUp Genius site here

As always, thank you for your continued support of the Library!
