Wildlife Encounters: Global Tour
Saturday, August 12. Children: 1-2 PM, Adults & Teens: 2-3 PM
Join us for a special “imaginary safari around the world!” Meet animals whose ancestors lived in a variety of habitats and places on Earth, while discovering their amazing adaptations, learning their eco-contributions and learning their personal stories! During this program you will have the chance to meet 7 different animals!

Fiber Arts Club
Monday, August 7. 6-8 PM.
Come join the Fiber Arts Club for Adults on the 1st Monday of every month at 6pm in the Makers Space. Anyone who knits, embroiders, crochets or creates with any other type of fiber art is welcome. Bring the project your currently working on and enjoy meeting with other fiber artist of all skill levels! This is not a teaching class. No registration required.

Mandala Mindfulness: A Peer Support Group for Creative Coloring and Connection

Adult Maker Space Craft Classes: Garden Stones
Thursday, August 10. 7-8:30 PM.
Come join us Thursday evening for a craft class for Adults. This week we'll be making Garden Stones with cement and broken plates. The finish stones will be about 9" in diameter. If you have a broken plate you would like to use please bring it with you!

Adult Maker Space Craft Classes: Cactus Bag
Friday, August 11. 1-2 PM.
Come join us Friday afternoon for a craft class for Adults. We'll be making a Cactus Bag!
You'll use paint and yarn to make a cactus bag with a 3D pompom flower. All supplies will be provided!

T's Taekwondo

The Martial Arts are open to all people. In class we will learn basic self defense techniques, proper form and even a bit about Korean Culture. Respect is at the forefront of our classes as we develop students who respond and speak to each other respectfully at all times! This is a no contact class, open to everyone ages 12 and up.

Over the last nine decades, the Walt Disney Company has transformed every facet of the entertainment business—from the creation of feature length cartoons, theme parks that span the globe, Broadway musicals, challenging Netflix with their new streaming service Disney+, to ownership of the greatest collection of franchise movies (from Stars Wars to Toy Story to The Avengers) under the control of a single studio in Hollywood history.
This presentation examines this remarkable story of creativity and media growth, and looks at how the Walt Disney Company grew from a small cartoon studio in 1923 to become the most powerful force in worldwide entertainment.
