Upcoming Library Closures

Wilmington Memorial Library will be closed or opening late on the following days:

Monday, May 29: In observance of Memorial Day, the library will be closed.

Friday, June 9, 9am-1pm: The library will be opening late at 1pm due to an all-staff meeting.

Come play and learn with Alex from Enabled Play! He'll demonstrate the incredible device that helps anyone access and control their technology in ways that work for them. Afterwards, you'll be able to try out this accessibility device on a Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PS5, along with computer games! All Ages

Come read to Brandie, a lovable dog that loves to listen to kids read! Sign up for one 15 minute session per family. Grades K-6, siblings and caregivers welcome

By using old crayons to draw on hot rocks, we will make unique paper weights with abstract patterns. Grades 4-8

Dishing Out Drag with Giganta Smalls (Virtual)
Saturday, June 10, 4pm

Teens are welcome to join Giganta Smalls as she dishes on what the life of a drag performer is like and maybe pick up a few tips on make-up and costumes! This program will be held on Zoom, with a moderated Q&A monitored by the librarians from the hosting libraries. Ages 13-18, parents or guardians welcome to join
