This group continues the work started with the library’s DEI series (https://wilmlibrary.org/DEI).  Instead of discussing the entire book, the group will read a select number of chapters per month to allow for more in depth conversation. Copies of the book will be available at the library’s main desk. This is a hybrid group that meets at the library and via Zoom.

Virtual 50+ Job Seekers

Wednesday, December 21, 9:30am

If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your "Encore Career", this networking group program is perfect for you! Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Each biweekly meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. 

This week's topic (December 21) is Networking 2.0.

Indoor A Celtic Christmas Concert

Enjoy the music of talented multi-instrumentalist Jeff Snow, who plays and shares the stories of the music of Scotland, Ireland and England. This concert features Celtic, Christmas, and holiday tunes. There will be singing, laughing, clapping and perhaps a bit of foot stomping; questions and input from the audience are encouraged and become part of the event.
