Kiwanis 2nd Annual Bike Safety Rodeo

Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the 

Weymouth Farmers Market at Weymouth High School.

Rain Date: June 18, 2023.

Summer is coming!  Make sure your kids are ready for a safe summer on their bikes!

The Kiwanis Club of Weymouth will be hosting a Bicycle Safety Rodeo on the opening day of the Weymouth Farmers Market in the Weymouth High School Parking Lot while the Farmers Market takes place indoors.

Bring your kids and their bikes to complete a Bicycle Safety Obstacle Course, receive a FREE helmet (while supplies last), have their helmet properly fitted by a Weymouth Police officer, and get a bicycle safety inspection.

Food Truck Fridays 

Food Truck Fridays are BACK in Weymouth!

Every Friday night from May 5th to September 29th from 5-8pm at Weymouth Town Hall. Come down, bring a chair, grab some food, and have some fun! Entertainment every week, including  DJ Chris Pickett on May 19th and Total Strangers on June 2nd. 

Note: There is no FTF on Friday, June 30 or September 1st.

Friends of the Weymouth Libraries 

3rd Week Sale in May 

All CDs & DVDs are half price from May 22 - May 26 in the Friends of the Weymouth Library's Mary Quintin Bookstore at Tufts Library.

The bookstore will be open from 10 AM - 8 PM each day. this week. 

Gift Idea for Father's Day!

The Friends of the Weymouth Libraries have copies of Colonial Weymouth by Mark Robert Schneider available for purchase for $25  in the Mary Quintin Bookstore in the Tufts Library. 

The book fills a void in the town's history from the settlement of Wessagusset in 1622 through the American Revolution and Weymouth's place in the new republic after the U.S. Constitution is adopted and ratified. Not to be missed! 

Inaugural Lace up for Cancer Walk 

South Shore Health Foundation will hold its inaugural Lace Up for Cancer Walk on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Weymouth High School to benefit cancer programs at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Health!

Many will walk in memory or in honor of those around them undergoing care and treatment. Join us for this family-friendly walkathon to raise awareness and funds for this local asset for cancer care services.

Norfolk County Registry of Deeds Promotes Consumer Notification Service 

The Norfolk County Registry of Deeds is charged with recording land documents related to real property in the  Norfolk County, Massachusetts. These documents relate to ownership of property, including deeds, mortgages and other instruments. 
 
One of the services for the resident and property owners is a FREE Consumer Notification Service, the purpose of which is to alert Norfolk County residents to potential property fraud. Find more information here
