Thank you for being a part of this campaign. Earlier tonight I called Senator DiZoglio to congratulate her on a hard-fought campaign and on her victory in the Primary.
While we came up short in this race, I am proud of what we have accomplished, building a grassroots campaign across the state with more than 2,400 individual contributors, a top-notch staff (Kate, Carlos, Mike, Matthew, and James), the best fundraising and support team you could ask for (Annie, Vann, Gemma, Tracey, Mindy, Feargal), friends and family who always had my back, and hundreds of volunteers. I am grateful to the hundreds of thousands of voters who placed their faith in me. Above all, I want to thank my wife, Anna. Over the course of this campaign we got engaged, got married, and moved into our first home together. I am incredibly lucky to have her in my life -- and eagerly anticipating a delayed honeymoon!
I believe in a bright future for our Commonwealth and look forward to finding additional opportunities to contribute, hopefully by continuing to work side-by-side with so many of you.
