Desires - A Tale of Two (a Teen Film Club Production)
Saturday, May 20th, 11:00AM-1:00PM

Join the Turner Free Library Teen Film Club for a screening of their 7-episode murder mystery series Desires: A Tale of Two. Randolph teens have been working on this series since January 2022, with approximately 20 teens contributing to the project from initial concept development, to writing and directing, to acting and tech work, to set design and post production! Come celebrate their achievement and enjoy the show! Please note that the mini series is unofficially rated PG-13; viewer discretion is advised.

Starting Seeds with the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association
Tuesday, May 2nd, 6:00-7:00 PM

Get a jump on the season by starting your plants from seeds! Whether you are interested in annuals, perennials, edibles, or even shrubs and trees, this lecture will give you the information you need from starting a seed to planting in the ground.

This program is made possible through federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Madan Sara Screening and Discussion with Filmmaker Etant Dupain
Saturday, May 6th, 2:00-4:00 PM

Attend a free screening of the Madan Sara documentary followed by a discussion with filmmaker Etant Dupain. This film focuses on the lives of Madan Sara, Haitian businesswomen who purchase, distribute, and sell food at Haitian markets and the place of Madan Sara in the global marketplace.

Teddy Bear Picnic
Monday, May 15th, 4:00-7:00PM at Powers Farm (592 N Main St)

In collaboration with the RICC, join us at Powers Farm for a Teddy Bear Picnic! Bring your teddy bears or favorite stuffies, a little snack, and a blanket! At 5:30pm, we'll sing teddy bear songs, read books and have some fun! We look forward to seeing you there! Registration is required.

Did you know? The Turner Free Library offers a FREE monthly subscription box service program for all Randolph teen cardholders!  Spaces are now open for the spring and summer, so if you like the idea of treating yourself to a monthly gift - nomming on some snacks while checking out some books our staff has picked just for you, then consider signing up for our Teen Lit Crate program.  We personalize each box AND feature a local Randolph teen artist in every box!
