Last chance to see the JST special exhibit!
Saturday, December 3, will be the last Community Open House for the Weston Historical Society exhibit at the Josiah Smith Tavern. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
Pam Fox, president of the Weston Historical Society, will give a short introduction and gallery tour at 11 am and 1 pm.
“History Under One Roof” tells the story of the JST as a tavern, a home for three generations of the Jones family, and a community building since the early 1950s. Jones objects on display — furniture, paintings, photos, decorative arts, household items, books, toys, documents, and memorabilia — help bring the family to life!
Visitors will also have the opportunity to view the newly restored tavern.
The exhibit will also be open Wednesdays, November 30 and December 7 from 12 to 2 and will close on December 7.
