Due to a resignation, there will be a vacancy on the Planning Board in mid-June. According to Massachusetts General Law, the Select Board in conjunction with the remaining members of the Planning Board are charged with appointing a replacement to fill the vacancy until the next Town election, which will be March 2023. Should the appointee want to continue, they will need to follow all required processes related to be on the election ballot.
Candidates must submit a letter of interest and resume to the Select Board/Town Manager’s Office by June 17, 2022.

- Candidates must be available for a public evaluation and questions of the two boards at a joint meeting of the Planning Board and the Select Board on June 28, 2022, starting at 6:00PM at Town Hall. Appointment of the new Planning Board member will occur at that meeting.
