MBTA Spring Service Schedules
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) has announced minor changes in some service schedules this spring.
The changes affect bus, subway, commuter rail, and ferry service and will go into effect on various dates this month.
Subway/T Service
Effective March 12, minor departure time changes for the "T" will take place on the Red, Blue, and Orange lines. The time between trains will be similar to their current frequency. There will be NO changes in service to the Green or Mattapan lines. See all subway service schedules.
Bus Service
Effective March 12, some bus routes will operate with more frequency, one route with less frequency, and some routes will undergo routing or departure time changes. Bus riders are advised to use the Trip Planner tool to find the most up-to-date service options. See all bus service schedules.
Ferry Service
Effective March 27, East Boston ferry service will resume for the season. Effective Memorial Day weekend, weekend service will also resume between Hingham, Hull, Logan Airport, and Long Wharf. See all ferry service schedules.
Commuter Rail
The MBTA is continuing to finalize service changes for the Commuter Rail. Spring 2023 schedules will be available soon.
