Town of Wayland Launches News Port
WAYLAND — Acting Town Manager Stephen Crane is pleased to announce that the Town of Wayland has launched a brand-new news portal that will serve as a hub for residents to access the latest information and Town news.
The site, waylandportal.com, features a modern look and accessible design so that residents can easily access Town related news, including the public safety departments, public works, board and committees, community events and more. The site also features a photo gallery.
Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the site to receive direct updates through their email. The site also is integrated with the Town's Facebook and Twitter and will automatically broadcast updates to these feeds.
New content is planned to be generated regularly and residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for updates.
"We recognize the importance of keeping residents up to date on Townnews, and are confident that this new resource will help us accomplish this goal," Acting Town Manager Crane said. "We hope that community members will subscribe and utilize this resource to stay connected and learn about the many great things going on in Wayland."
The Wayland news portal was created by John Guilfoil Public Relations.
