Town of Wakefield - Expanded Accessible And Senior Parking At Saturday's Special Election

A Special Election will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, for voters to consider a question concerning the Wakefield Memorial High School building project. The Election will take place at the Galvin Middle School, 525 Main Street. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. View a sample ballot and the Warrant

Expanded accessible parking will be available in the parking row by the building’s entrance. Additionally, the front row of the main parking lot will be designated for seniors who may have mobility challenges but do not have a placard or plate to use an accessible space. These spaces are designated in blue (accessible) and orange (senior parking) on the attached map.

Residents who are unable to vote at the Galvin on March 11 still have time to vote in person at the Office of the Town Clerk on Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The office is located on the first floor of Town Hall, 1 Lafayette Street.
