The Town of Stow is seeking a qualified full-time, benefit eligible (37.5 hr/wk) Administrative Assistant for the Police Department. The Administrative Assistant performs confidential administrative duties, such as answering inquiries, maintaining records, processes payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, prepares reports and correspondences, manages projects,  maintains schedules, and handles all overall operations of the administrative offices. Works with highly confidential information, oftentimes of a personal and legal nature, and uses proper discretion when dealing with information.

Associate degree in business or related field, and at three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience or any equivalent combination of education and proven administrative experience. Must pass a background check and criminal history (CORI) review.
Knowledge of Tritech/Central Square IMC RMS/CAD preferred.

Grade 4, Step 1 of the Town’s Salary and Compensation Plan, with a starting rate of $25.14/hour with full benefits. Hours are expected to be Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
