Southwick Master Plan Advisory Committee to host two “Community Visioning Sessions”
Survey Results to be Presented
The Southwick Master Plan Advisory Committee will be hosting “Community Visioning Sessions”, the first to be held on Thursday, October 13th at 6:30PM with a repeat session to take place on Saturday, October 15th at 9:00AM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person participation as well as online attendance via Zoom.
The “Community Visioning Sessions” are opportunities for Southwick residents and business owners to not only hear about the recent Community Survey results but also to participate in an interactive group session to provide additional feedback critical to Southwick’s Master Plan, a document that helps to guide long-term growth in the town over roughly the next twenty years.
Attendees will also be able to contribute their thoughts and ideas about how the Town can respond to pressures and opportunities through break-out discussion groups.
These sessions will run for approximately two hours, and the information garnered from the interactive sessions will influence the Master Plan’s goals and implementation strategies.
Pre-registration is encouraged – attendees can visit Southwick2040.com and click on the ‘Click to Register’ button at the top of the page. Online attendees will be able to access the Zoom meeting link through the Town’s Public Meeting Calendar at Southwickma.org.
Food and refreshments will be available at both meetings, thanks to generous donations by People’s Bank and Save Southwick, a local citizens group. Childcare will also be provided.
