The Town of Sandisfield is seeking one additional member to join the Regional Agreement Amendment Committee.
Committee consists of eight members, four from each town. Meeting subject to open meeting law. Committee may hire consultant from the state. Possibly a two year time frame.
Member responsibilities include:
Develop a Community Relations Process
Review & suggest amendments to current Regional Agreement
When submitting an amendment, all parts of the Regional Agreement must be in compliance with the State Laws & Regulations
Produce an amended Agreement
Seek preliminary approval from Commissioner of Education
Amended agreement is voted in each town
Final approval by the Commissioner of Education
