Town Of Rehoboth - In-Person Early Voting For The State Primary Begins - Saturday,August 27, 2022 - 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Francis Farm Museum Building

In-Person Early Voting will begin this Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Francis Farm Community Complex - Museum Building - 27 Francis Farm Road.  The polling location will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be no Sunday, August 28 voting sessions.  In-Person Early Voting will continue on Monday, August 29 - Thursday September 1 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Francis Farm - Museum Building - 27 Francis Farm Road; final In-Person Voting Session will be Friday, September 2 from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. 

PLEASE NOTE:  If you have already requested a Vote-By-Mail ballot, please vote the ballot you received in the mail and mail or drop off your completed ballot and signed envelope at Rehoboth Town Hall - 340 Anawan Street - Ballot Box or Town Clerk's Offices as soon as possible.  The In-Person Early Voting process is the same process as the Vote-By-Mail or absentee voting; voters will vote the ballot, when complete, they will place the ballot in an envelope, sign the ballot envelope and drop off with the check-out election official.  All ballots voted early (Absentee, Vote-By-Mail and In-Person Early Voting Ballots) will be processed either at the 9/1/2022 Advanced Processing session at the Francis Farm-Museum Building or the Centralized Tabulating Facility (CTF) also at the Francis Farm-Museum Building on 9/6/2022.  State Law does not permit the voter directly depositing the voted ballot into the tabulator until voting in-person on Election Day; September 6, 2022 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM. 

Are You Registered to Vote?  - Please check your voter registration status at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/VoterRegistrationSearch/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx .  If your voter registration status states "Inactive" please contact our office as soon as possible; 508-252-6502 X-3109, 3112 or 3110.  If you are not registered to vote please register no later than 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in order to be eligible to vote in the upcoming primary.

Final Day to Register to Vote will also be Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at the Francis Farm - Community Complex - Museum Building.  If you are not registered to vote and would like to participate in the 9-6-2022 State Primary Election, please register either in-person at 340 Anawan Street - Town Clerk's Office, online at www.RegisterToVoteMA.com or mail-in the attached voter registration card below. 

Reminder, for the upcoming State Primary Election, September 6, 2022, a voter who is NOT registered in a political party MUST specify the party ballot type of choice on the application to vote by mail or in person voting (early or on election day). Therefore:

We are unable to process applications for Unenrolled (commonly known as Independent) voters who do not select a party ballot type on their application.

Unenrolled voters who select a party ballot typedo not become registered in that party- they remain Unenrolled / Independent voters.

Voters who are registered in one of the two political parties (Democrat, Republican)MUSTtake that party ballot and areNOTgiven a choice of ballot type, as per MGL.

Who is on the 9-6-2022 Ballot?:  On Ballot: Representative in Congress, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Auditor, Governor's Council, State Senator, State Representative, District Attorney, Sheriff, County Commissioner.  Sample Ballots are available on Town Clerk’s Website @ https://www.rehobothma.gov/town-clerk/pages/elections-voting-links (choose Democrat or Republican Sample Ballots to view).or view the sample ballots below in the attachment.
