From: Town Of Plainville
February 3, 2023

The Town Clerk’s office is now issuing 2023 dog licenses.  All dogs six months old or older must be licensed each year per Massachusetts General Law Chapter 140, Section 137.

A dog license application was mailed to all households the first week in January along with the Annual Street Listing.  Please find another copy here for your convenience.

Proof of current rabies vaccination must be provided, along with proof of neuter/spay, if applicable.

Please note: The licensing period begins January 1, 2023 and ends February 28, 2023.  Please license your dog(s) no later than February 28, 2023 to avoid a late fee.

The fees are as follows:
          Spayed/Neutered: $10.00
          Male/Female Intact: $30.00
Late Fee after February 28, 2023: add $50.00

Residents 70 or older at the time of licensing qualify for a free dog license.

Payments can be made in person at the Town Clerk’s office, by mail to PO Box 1717, or online at https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/selection
