On May 19th, the CDC expanded eligibility of COVID-19 vaccine booster doses to everyone 5 years of age and older. CDC now recommends that children ages 5 through 11 years should receive a booster shot 5 months after their initial Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination series. Additionally, the CDC strengthened its recommendation that those 12 and older who are immunocompromised and those 50 and older should receive a second booster dose at least 4 months after their first.  To learn more about COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit www.mass.gov/vaccine or speak with your doctor.

The Northborough Health Department just released Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine booster appointments for individuals ages 5 and older.  Please make sure to register through the correct link by product.  Pre-registration is required. Clinics are open to the public. Please enter your insurance information when registering online. You will be asked to provide the date and brand of your most recent dose when registering.

-Pre-registration is required.  You will receive an email confirmation once registered.

-Please enter your insurance information when registering online.  You will not pay any fees or co-pays.  Uninsured accepted.

-Wear short sleeves.  Please bring your COVID-19 Vaccination Card (if available).

-If you are registering for a first dose appointment, please contact the Northborough Health Department for assistance with registering. The above link is for booster and second dose appointments only.

-If a minor (under 18 years of age) is not accompanied by a parent/guardian at the clinic, we require a signed consent form.  https://www.mass.gov/doc/covid-19-vaccination-consent-form-for-individuals-ages-5-17-english-1132021/download.  If a parent/guardian is present, this form is NOT required.
