Use Caution While Driving in Lexington Center

Curb-to-curb milling of Mass. Ave. in Lexington Center is now complete. This process has left a coarse surface for traffic to travel on. Please drive with additional caution in the area.

Utility structures are scheduled to be raised to the level of the final pavement surface over the week of October 3. There are dozens of structures within the project limits, so please use caution when driving through the downtown in this interim phase. If hit at high speed, structures can cause damage to your vehicle.

Final paving of the area is now tentatively scheduled for the week of October 11. Paving work is highly-dependent on weather during this time of year.
