I hope you are enjoying this gorgeous weekend. Mine started off with a bang- going to see Ringo Star and the All Stars with friends. Ringo still has the moves- at 81! Wow. You laugh, yes- the audience was 'mature' too with some really young exceptions but boy did they all love life. I really enjoy seeing people live it up, don't you?! I wanted to let you know about a great opportunity, or two, so you could do just that- live it up!  Read on for great opportunites for free or low cost fun,  but you need to reserve very soon. Worcester, our county seat turns 300 June 14th, youngsters! Did you know Lancaster was going to be the county seat, but deferred to Worcester? That is my understanding, our historical commission can tell you more. They are a wealth of information!   Worcester plans some fun celebrations beginning in June. An article on kick off events  linked here. Worcester just announced a FREE Boston Pops concert at the DCU Center Sunday, June 12th at 4. You can reserve general admission tickets here, while supplies last.  I hope to see you at the 'mosh pit'... seriously it should be fun. (Pro tip, set up a Ticket Master account before you click. It is free and you will need it to complete the transaction).

Another not to be missed event. The Lancaster Garden Club's annual meeting Sunday June 5th.  Fun Raffles, Fun nibbles and a Fun Flower Arranging Demo- Ikebana. Plus you meet some great neighbors on the Community Center Patio tomorrow, Sunday June 5th beginning at 4. Register here- RSVP required. Full disclosure; I am a member of this non-profit and think it is a great deal. Join for $20 to get free Tower Hill admission, nursery discounts at many places- that pays for itself right there! Plus lots of fun classes, and free workshops. Check it out tomorrow.
