Mulliken's Landing project updates
Conservation property Mulliken's Landing, at the corner of Landing Road and River Street. There’s a small dirt parking area, probably enough for 5 or 6 cars. This project was funded entirely through grants and private donations, including the DCR MassTrails grant, CPC, and Sampson Fund. The intent was to have kayak/canoe access to the Jones River regardless of tide, and without needing to walk through the salt marsh. It also acts as an access point for fishing in the Jones. The ramp and float will be removed by the Harbormaster the first week of November and stored for the winter, so anyone looking to use it should act fast! The pier itself is nice for a view. The entire project isn’t done yet, we still need to build 40’ of boardwalk and make some renovations to the existing trail. Any questions about the project should be sent to mpenella@kingstonma.gov
