Town Hill Water Storage Tank Project
This project consists of constructing a 3,000,000 gallon concrete prestressed water storage tank to replace the existing 2,840,000 gallon welded steel tank that currently serves Ipswich’s Main Downtown Pressure Zone. An evaluation of options for rehabilitating or replacing the existing water storage tank was conducted and replacing the tank with a 3 million gallon concrete storage tank was selected. The existing tank will be demolished upon completion of the replacement tank. $3.28 million in Federal Congressionally Directed Spending funds were awarded to support construction of this project.
