Subject: Drawdown Refill Notice
The refill of the drawdown will commence slowly from February 1, 2023, to protect the habitat in accordance with our Order of Conditions.
A recent mechanical failure has stopped the pump operation from maintaining the drawdown level of the pond, and water levels are rising. If repair is unsuccessful and service is not restored, the water level may continue to rise before February 1.
The annual refill is usually very slow until rainfall or significant snow melt. As always, please use caution. The recent swings in temperature mean the ice thickness is variable and can also change during the refill.
