Town Of Halifax to Honor And Remember Queen Elizabeth II

Three giant flags, that of Great Britain, Australia and Canada, will be unfurled on the Halifax Town Green on Thursday September 15, 2022, at 10 AM.
The flags, each measuring 90 feet by 45 feet, are part of the Allied Flag Collection and were taken to Buckingham Palace in 1994 as part of the World War II 50th commemorations.
We’re happy to say these impressive flags are based right here in Halifax!
Feel free to stop by and lend a hand as volunteers are invited to help in the unfurling.
The flags will be on display from 10AM to 2PM.
