Below please find important information concerning the beach:
Oversand Hours
As of Friday, September 2, 2022 the plan for Labor Day weekend will be as follows:
Crossover #1 & #2 will be open to approximately 500 vehicles. Crossover hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be 8am-10pm. Crossover hours on Monday thru Thursday will be 8am-8pm. (NOTE: Hours and number of vehicles allowed on crossovers are subject to change due to tides and extreme weather. For the latest updates follow our Twitter account: @BeachDuxbury.)
Labor Day Beach Party
The Labor Day Beach Party will be taking place on Saturday, September 3rd from 4pm-10pm. The bonfire will begin at approximately 7:30pm. Duxbury residents without stickers will be allowed to park in the resident lot after 4pm. (Note: This does not apply to oversand access. Only vehicles with a valid permit will be allowed on the crossovers).
For everyone’s safety please notify a Beach Ranger if you see any large holes that have been dug and not filled in.
We anticipate a very busy weekend and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to all signage, fencing, cones and directives from Beach Rangers and Bird Monitors.
