Drought level has been upgraded to Level 2
The Southeast Region saw improvement at the regional scale. This declaration will remain in effect till the next declaration.

These are mandatory restrictions. This applies to all residents (Aquarion, Dover municipal water, private wells) and are mandatory restrictions. Hand-held watering will be allowed for now from 5pm to 9am. Water uses subject to mandatory restrictions include nonessential outdoor watering activities such as:

- irrigation of lawns via sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems;

- washing of vehicles, except in a commercial car wash or as necessary for operator safety; and

- washing of exterior building surfaces, parking lots, driveways or sidewalks, except as necessary to apply surface treatments such as paint, preservatives, stucco, pavement, or cement

The Board of Selectmen adopted the Water Restriction Bylaw Enforcement Policy on August 18, 2022.
