COVID VACCINE NOW AVAILABLE FOR ALL CHILDREN OLDER THAN 6 MONTHS OF AGE

COVID vaccine was approved recently by the FDA and the CDC, and it became available this week. Pediatricians may already have the vaccine in their offices, and it is also available at many other locations.

FOR ELIGIBLE PEOPLE,  2nd BOOSTERS REDUCE RISK OF SERIOUS ILLNESS

With time, immunity induced by either COVID infection or vaccination wanes. Eligible individuals who have received a second booster have a lower risk of serious illness and death than do people who have had only one booster dose. Use the VaxFinder link to identify local vaccine providers if you are eligible and haven't yet had a second booster.

Please contact the Board of Health with questions or comments at 508-785-0032, extension 232.
