Town Of Dedham : Dedham Rabies Event With ARL Boston Draws Large Crowd

Despite the predicted extreme weekend heat, the cooler temperatures and overcast skies lingered just until the Town of Dedham/Animal Rescue League of Boston Community Rabies Clinic ended, leaving the team of staff and volunteers without any concerns for weather-related pet issues.

Cats and dogs and their friendly pet owners seemed to really enjoy getting to know the clinic team, make sure their pet was up-to-date with their rabies vaccine, and even posed for photos! All Dedham dogs that attended the clinic who were unlicensed when they arrived became licensed dogs before leaving, thanks to Dedham Town Clerk Paul Munchbach and Assistant Town Clerk Kristen Morse (photo below)!

"The partnership between the Town of Dedham and the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL Boston) has once again proven to be all about keeping our community’s pets both healthy and safe," said Dedham Animal Control Officer Deni Goldman.

The ARL "is an unwavering champion for animals in need, committed to keeping them safe and healthy in habitats and homes," as stated on their website. "We are very fortunate to have them right here in our own backyard, " said ACO Goldman.
