Volunteers wanted to help remove invasive species from Fournier Property trail Saturday, November 5 at 10am to noon

The Fournier Property, located adjacent to the Conway Grammar School, has a trail needing some care to allow for safe and enjoyable access from the school grounds. There are areas near the trail head and next to the school which are filled with Asiatic Honeysuckle, Bittersweet and Barberry, along with other invasive, non native plants. The Forest and Trails Committee is sponsoring an invasive plant removal party on Saturday November 5th with a rain date on November 6th. Guidance and a few tools will be available. You are invited to also bring your own tools (loppers, hand cutting tools, pruning says, root saws, pry-bars, shovels).

We will meet at Conway Grammar School in front of the playground area.
