MRSD's Portrait of a Graduate

Monomoy Regional School District is embarking on the process of creating a "Portrait of a Graduate."

The creation of a Portrait of a Graduate will help inform Monomoy educators from elementary school through high school about the skillsets and mindsets today’s students and graduates need to be successful in their futures. As part of this process, there will be a number of focus groups held for students, parents and caregivers, staff, town officials, and business and community members, at which attendees can share their vision for Monomoy schools.

The dates for each focus group as well as more information on Monomoy’s Portrait of a Graduate endeavor can be found on the District's website. In the coming weeks, there will also be a survey sent out to allow stakeholders to share their input on this process. MRSD looks forward to hearing from many voices to help develop this “Portrait” to guide Monomoy schools in better preparing students for college, careers, and life.

Moving On Up - Internal Promotions

Two Team Chatham members have been promoted to new roles within our organization recently.

Michele Clarke is celebrating her 16th anniversary with the Town as our new Projects and Operations Assistant after serving as the Office Manager for the Community Development Department. Her experience working closely with the Principal Planner, Planning Board, and as the staff liaison the the Historical Commission uniquely qualifies her to take on new responsibilities on a variety of special projects,

Former Inspections Division Secretary Christina Bassett is stepping into the vacancy created by Michele's promotion and will serve as the Community Development Department's Office Manager. She has been a key collaborator in the Department in developing innovative and efficient departmental workflow processes.

Congratulations to Michele and Christina!

So, who will be our next Inspections Division Secretary? Stay tuned! (And if you are interested in joining Team Chatham, check out the opportunities.)
