The Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023
Nomination papers will be available at the Town Clerk’s Office, Carver Town Hall, 108 Main Street, on Tuesday January 31, 2023 for registered Carver voters who wish to run for Town positions. Candidates are required to submit signatures for fifty (50) registered voters of the town for certification. It is suggested that you obtain more signatures than required to be submitted in the event not all signatures are valid. Note all signatures must be legible and written substantially as registered. Do not use initials and nicknames in place of full names. Important dates for candidates to remember:
Tuesday January 31st 2023 – nomination papers available in Town Clerk’s Office
Tuesday February 28th 2023 – Last day to obtain nomination papers (MGL.ch.53.9A)
Thursday March 2nd 2023 – Last day to submit nomination papers to Clerk/Registrar of Voters for certification.
Tuesday March 21nd 2023 – Last day to object/withdraw nomination papers.
Friday March 31 2023 - Last day to register to vote or make changes to your voter registration for Annual Town Meeting and Annual Town Election
Tuesday April 112th 2023– Annual Town Meeting held at Carver Middle High School
Friday April 21, 2023 – Last day for absentee ballot
Saturday April 22nd 2023– Annual Town Election Polls open at 8:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM at Carver Middle High School
Monday May 23, 20223- Campaign Finance Reports Due.
