Town Of Carver : 2023 Motor Vehicle Excise Bills Mailed February 14 - Due March 16, 2023

From: Town Of Carver
February 16, 2023

Motor Vehicle Excise tax bills for calendar year 2023 were mailed on February 14, 2023.  The tax bills are due Thursday, March 16, 2023, and must be received in the Tax Collector’s office on or before then.  Postmark date is not accepted as payment made if the payment is not received in the Tax Collector’s office by March 16, 2023.

Payments can be made in person at the Town Hall Tax Collector’s office on the 2nd floor, 108 Main Street; online through our website, (click here for a direct link to UniPay); or by sending in payment with the remittance stub to our lockbox at Town of Carver, Department 6310, PO Box 4110, Woburn, MA  01888-4110 or directly to our office mailing address at PO Box 67, Carver, MA  02330.  Payment by check can be dropped off with remittance stub in an envelope addressed to the Collector in the DROP BOX outside of Town Hall.

When submitting payment by mail, please include the remittance stub(s) for all bills being paid.  If processing payment through your bank’s online BILL PAY, you must include the bill number(s) in the memo field.  Without this information, your payment may be mailed back to you with a request for more information.  This will cause a delay in when the payment is posted and may cause interest and late fees to accrue. Please Verify The Bill Pay Address Matches What Is On The Payment Remittance Stub.

If you have registered vehicles in the Town of Carver as of January 1, 2023 and have not received an excise tax bill, please contact the Tax Collector’s Office at (508) 866-3434 or email TaxDept@carverma.gov.

The Tax Collector’s Office is open to receive payments of taxes Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tuesday evenings till 7:00 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to Noon.
