Town Of Canton News : Kickoff the Summer with the Recreation Department

The Canton Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce some events we have coming up this weekend!
First the Bolivar Pool will be opening for the season this Saturday, June 25th at 1pm. Public swim hours will be Monday-Sunday from 1-6:30pm. For more information please visit cantonrec.com
This Sunday, June 26th we have our first ever Joe DeFelice 5k Run/Walk race and Fun Run. This event is for all ages. The race begins at 9am and pre-registration is highly encouraged. We are also excited to bring back the Towns Annual Independence Day Celebration on Sunday night starting at 6:30pm. This will take place at the Irish Cultural Center. There will be food, drinks, bounce houses, face painting, caricature artists and we will cap the night off with a firework display. Please remember no coolers are allowed on the property.
We are thrilled to start summer off this weekend and hope to see you all there!
