BSC HIGHLIGHTS FOR THIS WEEK

Monday, February 13 at 1:00 pm at the Senior Center,  join Suzy Buchanan, Executive Director of the Shirley-Eustis House, for an interesting presentation in honor of Black History Month. How do we tell the history of slavery in New England? Learn how the Shirley-Eustis House Association of Roxbury took steps in researching the men, women, and children who served in lifelong bondage at Shirley Place in the 18th century, saved a historic building, and revitalized its ongoing mission.

REMINDER - Gifts will be raffled off at this event. Raffle tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5 (cash only) 

Please see the staff or volunteers at the program to purchase your tickets.

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the programs and services of the Brookline Senior Center!

Monday February 13 at 10:30 am at the Senior Center join Reva Seager, MSPH, RD, LDN, a registered dietitian and clinical research coordinator, for an informative presentation about the benefits of mindful eating and how to satisfy physical and emotional hungers.  ,

Thursday February 16 from 1:00-2:30 pm at the Senior Center join Just the Three of Us for “A Blast from the Past "CONCERT with songs of yesteryear. Tap your toes as Jack Hawes, Buck Cole, and Jane Mitchell musically share their passion for instruments, songs and great lyrics!

The Senior Center will be closed on Monday, February 20, in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Transportation will not be available that day.
