Juneteenth Independence Day, commonly referred to as Juneteenth, commemorates the date of the official end of legal slavery in the United States after the Civil War.
In observance of this holiday, Brewster Town Offices and the Recycling Center will be closed Monday, June 20, 2022. The Recycling Center will be open Tuesday, June 21, to alleviate any inconvenience.
Open Position: Assistant Circulation Manager
The Brewster Ladies Library seeks qualified applicants for Assistant Circulation Manager. This position provides excellent circulation services. Position serves as an assistant in public services department and assists with the responsibilities for the daily operations relating to the circulation desk and the acquisition, processing, and withdrawal of all library materials.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum three years professional library experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Full time, 35 hours a week, Grade 3A, SEIU Union position, with a starting pay rate of $23.78 - $25.93 per hour, excellent benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
