From: Town of Bolton
December 16, 2022

Bolton Public Library is pleased to announce a partnership with 60+ other MA public libraries that's specifically for jobseekers ages 50 and up. Those who are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for an "Encore Career," may find this opportunity helpful and worthwhile.

Twice each month from January through June, participants will join Zoom meetings led by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. Deborah is a former Fortune 500 executive, investment banker and entrepreneur. She has been trained or certified in a variety of coaching models and assessment tools and has facilitated 50+ job seekers networking groups since 2016. Tewksbury Public Library will host.

Topics to be covered include self-assessment, marketing, resumes and cover letters, creating a LinkedIn presence, interviewing, and networking 2.0.  Sessions will be offered both morning and evening, with additional time available before each to speak informally with Deborah and among participants (85% of jobs are found through networking!).

Best of all: this program is entirely free of charge to participants.  This is public libraries at your service.

The first session will be January 4.  For more information and to sign up, follow this link: http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/news.html
