ASHBURNHAM AWARDED $1.1M FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
The Select Board and Town Administrator are pleased to announce Ashburnham was recently awarded three economic development grants funded through the Commonwealth's Community One Stop for Growth Program. The grants, totaling $1.1 million, will fund the following:

Consulting services for the development of a Storefront Improvement Program assisting Downtown Business and Commercial Property Owners. Massachusetts Downtown Initiative Grant award of $25,000.

Consulting services to develop a Downtown Improvement Master Plan.  Community Planning Grant award of $75,000.

Design, engineering and construction services for completion of Main Street Roadway Improvements from Pleasant and Lawrence Streets to the Phillips Brook Bridge.  MassWorks Infrastructure Grant award of $1,000,000.

PITTSFIELD — Today, Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, Undersecretary of Community Development Ashley Stolba and MassDevelopment President and CEO Dan Rivera were joined by state and local officials in Pittsfield to announce more than $143 million in grant awards to support 337 local economic development projects in 169 communities.
