Town Hall Update Sept. 15
In this Town Hall Update, Arlington Town Manager, Sandy Pooler, talks about Town Day this coming Saturday, Sept. 15 and what to expect. He also reports that a new Library Director has been named and recent hires at Town Hall. View the Update.

Town Day, Sept. 17 9:30AM-3PM
Fireworks over Spy Pond at dusk, no other activities planned.
Mass Ave closed between Pleasant and Jason Street, observe signs for other traffic, parking restrictions.
Join us for the return of Arlington Town Day for its 44th year. Festivities include music, food, demonstrations and activities with over 200 booth vendors. Town Day takes place along Massachusetts Avenue between Pleasant Street and Jason Street, 9:30 a.m - 3 p.m. Please note this area of Mass. Ave. will be closed as well as access to Mass. Ave. from adjoining side streets. MBTA has rerouted its bus routes accordingly. Traffic delays are expected. Visitors are encouraged to walk to the event, if possible. Litten Named Arlington’s Library Director
Begins role on September 19.
Arlington Town Manager, Sandy Pooler, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Litten as Arlington’s new Library Director. The Library Director oversees the operations of the Robbins and Fox Branch libraries, including managing the budget and developing the library's collections and its many services.
