Arlington Awarded $1 million in Federal Community Project grant for Bikeway Design
For the design of the Mystic River Path and the Minuteman Bikeway connection.
As part of the federal FY2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act, Arlington received a $1,000,000 from the $1.7 trillion spending bill signed in December 2022. This funding follows completion of a feasibility study of a new connection between the Mystic River Path and the Minuteman Bikeway trail, a 1.7-mile shared-use path along the Mystic River and Lower Mystic Lake. The funds will be used to design the connection. Read the full release and feasibility study at arlingtonma.gov/planning.
