Apply to be an Election Worker 

The Town Clerk is looking for more election workers for the Town Election on April 1st.  If you would like to apply to be an election worker, complete the online form and the Town Clerk will be in touch with information about training and schedules. View the form

March 8 and 9 Ballot Mail Volunteering 

The Town Clerk is organizing volunteers on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9th to prepare the ballot envelopes for mailing. If you have two hours to help, please sign up

April 1 Annual Town Election 

Polls open 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Town Election Deadlines 

Tuesday, March 7 at 5 pm is the deadline for Town Meeting candidates to submit statements at https://tinyurl.com/ArlingtonTM2023.  

Wednesday, March 22 at 5 pm is the last day to register to vote for this election.  

Monday, March 27 at 5 pm is the last day to apply for a mailed ballot. If you did not receive a postcard, any signed note or application can be accepted.  

Overseas residents and active military personnel are eligible to vote through an online portal for all elections. Submit the FPCA application before March 27 at 5 pm.  

Voters who are unable to complete a paper ballot independently are eligible to vote through an online portal for all elections. Submit the AVBM application before March 27 at 5 pm. 

March 23 Candidates' Night 

Envision Arlington and the League of Women Voters of Arlington will host Candidates Night on March 23, 2023 in the Town Hall Auditorium. Candidates for Town Meeting and current Town Meeting Members are invited to meet with constituents at 7:30 pm. The forum for town wide candidates will begin at 8:00 pm.  The event will be carried live on ACMi and will be recorded for rebroadcast.  Questions for the candidates are being solicited from the public in advance, by March 8th.  You can submit questions and add to your iCalendar.  

March 16 Virtual Candidates’ Night 

Through the Civic Engagement Group, Envision Arlington is hosting a Virtual/Remote Candidates' Night via Zoom only for the Town Meeting Member Races. This Candidates' Night will take place on March 16 at 7:30 p.m., and it is in addition to the in-person Candidates' Night that will take place at Town Hall on March 23. Whether the race in a precinct is contested or not, this Candidates' Night is another good opportunity for incumbent and prospective Town Meeting Members to meet the residents in their precincts as well as each other. Register and add to your iCalendar before the meeting so that you can get assigned to the correct virtual room for your precinct.
